PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The new generation LEGGE 990MFE Multi-function Electric Mortice Lock has been developed for simplicity. Simplicity for the stockist, the installer and the end-user. For the stockist: only one lock is required because it is multi-functional, fail safe and fail secure and 12-24Vdc. For the installer: all functions, handing and fail safe and fail secure can be easily selected on site. For the end-user: a quality product which offers a full range of monitoring functions. The 990MFE is operated by peripheral devices such as hand and fingerprint readers, keypad, swipe card, prox card, ibutton, intercom systems, push button release and key-override. 
 
PRODUCT FEATURES
  • Lock Functions: Vestibule and Combination
  • Fire Rating: Tested to 4 hour period on fire door assemblies as specified in the Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NS 1905.1 - 1997 Part 1 Fire Resistant door sets
  • Certified Approvals: Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) certified to EN 6100-6-1:2004. C Tick compliance to AS/SPR 22, 2004
  • Door Clearance: Deadlatching and monitoring functions between 1mm to 5mm
  • Backset: 60mm standard, 89mm & 127mm available on request
  • Door Thickness: 32mm to 50mm standard

  • Protective cap developed to cover cylinder hole until cylinder ready for installation
  • Modified locking bar to withstand extra pressure
  • New heavy duty request to exit (REX) switches that have been tested to reliably provide well over 1 million actuations

  • Lever is locked and unlocked electronically
  • Field changeable: - Handing to suit left and right hand doors, selection of free lever or locked lever on both sides of the door - Contacts, normally closed, normally open - Fail safe and fail secure functions - Key override with monitoring of key operation for both left hand and right hand
  • Visual indicator of true lock status, using Smart LED status – green for insecure and red for secure
